The Audacity

A wise man once said that hypocrisy is the audacity to preach integrity from a den of corruption.

We tend to find ourselves in places we shouldn’t be and around people that mean us no good and wonder how we landed up in a landfill surrounded by old gossip, rumors and ill-will. We allowed ourselves to be filled with the trash from these landfills because we left our mind-lids open….and quite obviously, once a receptacle’s lid is open, it is meant to be filled with trash.  Most people would think that it’s easy to close that lid...but it’s human nature to want to know something juicy…...the juicer, the better right….until that juice squirts in your own eye, then that same sweet nectar turns sour and distasteful.  So, as the saying goes, if you can’t take it, don’t dish it.

I am a strong believer in staying in my lane and maneuvering the best I can within that lane. Because of this, I sincerely do not care what others have to say about me behind my back….because those are the ones that are just that...behind me.  When people don’t know the real deal of what you’re doing or how you’re moving, they have to make it up...so be my guest….continue having your fairy tale book club meetings, or you can use your time to catch up instead of staying behind in old behaviors and ways of thinking.  Now I’m in no way saying that I believe I am better than anyone, not at all.  I just choose to hold myself to a higher standard than other people may hold themselves to, hence spreading whispers, feeding into hearsay, or just plain out coming out of pocket trying to find out something that has no benefit to them.

Early on, I learned that if I focus on Trakell, there is so much more that I can do, and so many other people I can help out.  Anyone that’s still running around in the shadows of the landfills picking up trash and polluting the neighborhood, I apologize that I cancelled my subscription to your mess a long time ago with no plans of a renewal.
